In preparation for my upcoming birthday, I have decided to work on my body. I have plenty of stamina, however, I want a little more tone. So, I am going to start weight training.
I thought I would get a couple of five-pound weights and begin my program, but a friend of mine convinced me that is sissy stuff. So, I am interviewing personal trainers to “pump me up”. I sort of would like a male trainer but a woman would be just as cool. To prepare I began reading a book entitled Body for Life by Bill Phillips. I am not really into how-to books, however, this Phillips guy came highly recommended.
In a few weeks, I will tell you if I am truly firmer. Now, let’s pump YOU up!
